Due to continued growth and a new post-Covid office policy promoting flexibility and collaboration, the Global Fund decided to restructure the workplace for its 1’300+ employees. After an extensive study in collaboration with Knight Frank London, the team developed a hybrid workplace strategy for the Global Fund’s 6 floors.
The project is based on a 60% desk sharing ratio, creating a hybrid work environment carefully designed to eliminate hierarchy and facilitate teamwork. A variety of new space types were developed to transition to the future way of working, including personal lockers, touch-down desks, and furniture solutions that promote focused and collaborative work. While reusing as much of the existing furniture as possible, the new layouts were chosen to create a more informal, homey feel and to align with the company’s recently revised branding concept.
Our services also included the selection of furniture as well as the change communication process and the move management to ensure a smooth transition to the new work environment.
